Comments: I was really happy with the service. I've had experience of very poor customer service at garages and so often feel nervous going to one, but this was a great experience. The member of staff on the desk was friendly and professional. There was a large waiting room with free drinks, a vending machine and books for children - which was so helpful as I had my two young children with me. There was also a toilet which was really clean - not always had this experience in garages! I would definitely go back.

Comments: Outstanding customer service. They calmed me down and were incredibly unpatronising. When I asked if they would mind if I fed my baby if he woke, they were prepared to offer me a room where I could be comfortable and undisturbed. I would recommend this garage to anyone and they provided the same professional yet friendly service to all people I saw them deal with as I waited. Most impressed.

Comments: I would like to send a great big thanks to Paul and Dan for sorting out my Range Rover. They were brilliant and very patient sorting out what the fault was. As Paul said, Hunters wanted to change the fuel injection and that would have cost somewhere over £1000. As it was they soon knew it wasn't the fuel injection but the battery, so big thanks for that - you guys are mega and thanks too to Kim.

Comments: My comments are as follows: It is nice to have a garage I feel I can trust and even when the bill is a bit eye watering I know the work will have been necessary and that I haven't been 'ripped off.'
I particularly love getting a sparkling new car back - the inside and outside clean is great!
I also love the little surprises you leave - first aid kit/wipes/travel sweets etc!

Comments: The service was brilliant at CraneBank, I felt extremely comfortable leaving my car with you as my mum, Jackie Dawson always uses you. It was nice to experience a garage that wasnt too intimidating, I have found in the past with other garages that I have felt slightly patronised, being a young woman, however there was nothing like that during my visits to you and I would definitley be bringing my car back in the future. The reception was a comfortable and sociable place to wait and the coffee machine was a nice touch!

Comments: What a pleasurable experience it was bringing my car for its MOT. As a lady it is always a feeling of dread having to take time out of my busy day to take the car to a garage and have to sit in a waiting room for an hour. Yesterday this was actually most enjoyable, to be given a lovely cup of coffee, (in a proper mug!) and to be able to sit on a comfortable sofa reading magazines, what more could a lady ask for. Oh yes and let's not forget the lovely friendly atmosphere. Perfect!

Comments: I've been using Nuffield Motors for over a year now and they have never, ever let me down. They are always welcoming and friendly and know me by name.
Yesterday my car had it's Coolant Warning Light come on and when I had a look in under the bonnet, noticed that the car had had a massive wee underneath it and no water in the expansion tank. One call to Nigel and the car was booked in, taken to the garage and they even gave me a lift back to my place of work. They do have courtesy cars if needed. I was advised that they couldn't look at the car until Wednesday (which was fine by me) but lo and behold, I get a phone call today and less than 24 hours later my car is back in action.
I only ever take my car to Nuffield Motors now for Repairs, Servicing and MOTs.

They came and picked me up and took me home from the garage when needed which was very helpful. Couldn't have been more pleased I'd taken my car here. Comments: As soon as I entered I felt warmly welcome by all. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable with lots of reading material and things to look at; I was offered a cup of tea while i waited.
The waiting area has a window to the workshop floor so you can watch as they fix the problems with the vehicles.
Both reception staff and mechanics' alike were warm and friendly. They were upfront and honest with the problems and explained in a way that wasn't jargon.
I went in and all the issues with my car were fixed while I waited and considering how much it needed and how much I though it would have cost, I was more than surprised when I received my bill and how low it was.
When I have been to garages before I've felt really out of place and have in other places been advised to do things that aren't necessary and not being able to put my foot down as I felt intimidated.
H&B was so open and honest that I didn't feel intimidated at all and felt that I could talk to them and they would give me an honest answer to keep the car on the road for an affordable price.
For the Service, quality of work and welcome from all involved; it is somewhere I would definitely go back to and highly recommend.

Comments: We took our car in for a full service and were very surprised to find a nice clean waiting room to sit in.We were greeted warmly and offered a cup of tea.The waiting room is child friendly also with toys and doors either end to keep them safely shut in.
There are some lovely crystals & aromatherapy items on sale which makes a change.
The work was carried out very efficiently and we were overall very impressed.

Comments: I'd like to really recommend Mycar-e. My car had some dents and scratches which they took out for me, leaving my car good as new. The specialist was professional, and really took time to ensure he did a good job and that I was happy with it. From what I could see their prices were lower than others in the area, and I didn't feel like this compromised quality in any way. I was very happy indeed.

Comments: I had four winter tyres fitted just before the recent snow. The staff were extremely helpful and talked me through prices and how the tyres would help. As I work in a school the tyres have enabled myself to get into school when other staff have been unable to therefore making them a godsend! They repaired other scratches without asking, the price was less than expected and even the interior smelt like new afterwards. I sold it to the first caller because it looked WONDERFUL...

Comments: Advertised locally as a Renault specialist we tried the garage as 2 other local garages were struggling to repair my non running vehicle. Spoke to a guy called James at the garage. The vehicle was collected free of charge(excellent start in my book). Within 2 hours he had phoned with diagnosis and fixed cost for the repair. True to their word the bill was exactly as quoted not a penny more. Very friendly people, would definitely be using Go-Renault for all my repairs in the future.

Comments: I would recommend you do not step near this garage to either buy a car (Selsey showrooms) or take your car there to be fixed (Sidlesham). My engineer father reviewed my car after buying it from them and found:
- cables not in their fixings
- illegal spare tyre
- power steering fluid under the minimum limit
- little oil
- other tyres needing replacing
- tracking needed doing
The car has since spent more time with the garage than with me (I bought it in September last year). At one point when I bought the car back as the work had obviously not been done, they tried to bully and even lied to me to the point that I rang a male friend during the altercation (they changed their behaviour after this). I definitely felt that they would treat males different from females.
They didn't return phone calls, couldn't be bothered to do the car quickly, smoked in the garage, didn't do the work they said they had - overall their customer service was lousy. Cowboys - steer well clear ladies (and gents).

Comments: They tried to charge me £400 to replace tyres because of cuts. I went to a tyre specialist to get them replaced and asked them to check where the cuts were; they found NO DAMAGE AT ALL to the tyres.
Honda apologised and asked to see the car again. They then circled the cuts in yellow chalk, but they were gravel indents that were not serious at all, not cuts.

Comments: This garage offered to unstick a jammed seatbelt and rang to tell me the car was ready, but when I went to collect it, the car was not there. It had apparently been taken on an hour-long 'test drive'. I asked why and was told I didn't understand the first thing about cars. When the car was finally returned to me I felt in a very uncomfortable position with an extremely abusive man. In the end I wasn't charged, but I felt very unsafe and have had a horrible experience. I would strongly advise people not to use this garage - especially a woman like me!

Went to PJS Garage having been recommended for a service...clutch adjusted FOC, shock absorbers are OK and tyres have 3-4mm left on them.
The full service was the cheapest I have had and very comprehensive.

Comments: I've been going to Mick at Autoworks for a few years following my daughter's recommendation. I've always found him and all his staff very helpful. Nothing's too much trouble. He's serviced 3 cars for me now and actually found me my last car. My previous car died and the AA took me back to Autoworks on a Saturday morning. Mick arranged to scrap the car and found me a replacement vehicle within budget. He was delayed by a day getting the car serviced for me due to staff sickness so he drove the car up to Oldham for me at no extra cost. Truly exceptional service. I recommend Autoworks highly.

I can't rate this place enough, I hate having to go to garages but I never feel intimidated here. They also are very honest, no pressure, I had a service and was advised I would need new brakes but not for another 2k miles; some garages would have said I needed them there and then. I now have my sister go there as well.
When i was looking to buy a car I suggested what I was looking at and they advised me against it, as that one always had things go wrong. They advised me which car would have the least return trips to the garage - brilliant service.

Comments: This garage outwardly seems a very male orientated place, but attitudes were professional and once the MOT was completed the staff were then chatty. It could be made better for women with an area where you know someone hasn't sat down before you in dirty overalls. There is a seating area but I was wearing white cut-offs on a hot day and so a separate area for clean and a separate area for oily clothes would be a good idea...just a thought, I will go back though as I feel this garage deserves support.

And they hired my transporter trailer twice, to carry customers cars etc, for over three weeks, and refused to pay for it. What a disgusting way to treat a widow. Garages like this should be closed down.

Comments: I was recommended to BRC by a friend. Whilst on site they noticed some scratches on my car so I agreed to have these done. They collected and delivered my car back and gave me a courtesy car. The service I received was great and not what I expected.
